Acension and Vigor - Guild Wars Forums

First of all, I have ascended but I haven't notcied anything different? Can someone tell me what I get for ascending if anything?

Another thing, I equiped a major vigor rune and a minor to my armor, my health goes up 41. But i noticed that during battles it goes way up? why? and sometimes it doesnt? can someone explain please?

If you just assended and are lvl 20 you get 50k xp. If you where below lvl 20 when you assended you get enough xp to put you to lvl 20. Only one rune of the same type will effect you. The major over rides the minor.

In battles if you defeat a boss you get a 2% morale boost which increases your health and power.

A few questions plus pointing out the Runes don't stack that way. You're only getting the benefit of the Major Vigor as the game will give you the better of the two applied.

Question #1. - What class are you and are you using any skills that increase max health? (I.E. Monks have protective spirit {think thats the name} the increases max health.
Question #2. - When you've noticed this spike in health, are you grouping with other players or henchies or solo? It's possible another player has buffed you in some way.

As to your Question about health . . Wha are the stats on your wepons/ sheilds/ offhand items? alot of these will give hp+ depending on hexes /stances / conditions/ enchants ect, ect . . take a look at that. hope that helps

just to clarify this point. you get morale boosts in 2% increments. Max morale boost is 10% (5 boosts). that might account for the increase in health. the other is as the previous posters stated, it could be a buff.

when i started playing, i grouped with a ranger that used rituals, and i had no idea why my health was so high until he told me.

And i know about the morale boots...
